Roger Dale Ginn, 48, of Wheelersburg, Born June 9, 1974, in Portsmouth, OH, passed away peacefully on February 3 at KDMC, Ashland, KY, with family present.
He is preceded in death by his father, Roger Ginn; his mother, Renee (Carroll) Powers; his grandparents, Warren Junior Ginn and Effie Lee(Whitt)Ginn; grandparents, Ernest Everett Carroll and Estell Irene Sanford Burke; nephew Michael Ginn.
He is survived by his daughter, Hannah (Trey) Reed, and his beloved granddaughter, Kynzlee; Daughter, Emma Ginn; Brother, Joe Poole and wife, Missy; Nieces, Gena, Eleanor, and Riley Poole; Sister, Rasha Ginn; Nephew, Matthew Speas; Sister, Jessie Poole; Nieces, Ashton Hunt, and Autumn Dipzinski; Stepfather, Steve Powers; and very special friend, Tisha (Chuck) Meade, as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends
Roger had so much love to give. He was a loving father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend. He was always there to brighten the lives of others, to help, or to listen when anyone needed him. He had a heart of gold and cared deeply about his family and friends. He loved being around people and always had a grin on his face. He loved going fishing, working on cars, being outdoors, and painting.
Roger had many different careers in life, but the one he enjoyed the most was painting for Sharp Edge Painting.
Roger will always be dearly loved and adored by everyone that knew him and will remain forever in our hearts and so sadly missed by so many.
A Memorial Service for Roger Ginn will be held Thursday, February 9, 2023, at D.W. Swick Funeral Home in Wheelersburg from 6 pm to 8 pm.
