In addition, he acknowledged that people in his own family had called him names, suggesting that he had a habit of acting inappropriately.
At several points, he expressed his desire to be treated for his proclivity for such behavior.
A detective for the Greenup County Sheriff’s office was a part of the camera crew to oversee the questioning.
After the man was interviewed for nearly 2 hours, marked officers from the Greenup County Sheriff’s office arrived. They advised him of his rights. The man willingly turned over his electronic devices.
Austin Hardin, 28, was charged with possessing matter that portrayed the sexual performance by a minor under the age of 12. Hardin is currently lodged at the Greenup County Jail on a $100,000 bond.
