SVU Investigates Death of Baby
Members of the Special Victims Unit were called out to investigate the death of a baby early Monday morning.
Just after 6:25 am, officers and EMS responded to a Coles Blvd home for a report of a baby not breathing with blood coming from the nose.
Tragically, medics declared the baby deceased. Police contacted the Scioto County Special Victims Unit and detectives, and the coroner responded to the scene along with CPS workers.

Officers also served someone at the scene with a traffic warrant and ordered them to appear in Portsmouth Municipal Court tomorrow.
