Officers responded to a Lucasville home after a woman said a man threw her in her room and made threats to harm her. She later called back to tell police she’d fled to the neighbors. Dispatch said they could hear the angry man yelling in the background.
The neighbor came outside with a weapon and ordered the man to get off his property, and he fled on foot.
When rescue workers arrived at the scene, they feared the woman might have a broken shoulder.
The boyfriend called the police, saying he wanted to speak to a deputy but refused to meet them in person because he said, “he keeps getting arrested.”
The woman packed her things to go to another location with her children, and officers took information for a report.
