A man on parole for failing to register as a sex offender found himself back behind bars once again.
Portsmouth Police arrested Phillip Graves, 30, on an escape charge out of Franklin County. Graves was released to Scioto County on parole back in June of 2020.
Since then, he’s been arrested seven times. Last May. police picked him up on theft charges, and in January he was brought in on an outstanding warrant from Franklin County.
The previous October, OSP busted him for theft and parole violation, and last August, NBPD picked him up on another parole violation charge. He was also arrested for parole violations in April and June of last year.
Graves is listed on the Ohio Sex Offenders registry as a non-compliant Tier II Sex offender.
