Delinquent Taxpayers Scioto County
ShareTweetEmail

The issue of Delinquent Property Taxpayers in Scioto County has been on the minds of both City and County Officials. This was the first item newly elected City Councilperson Charlotte Gordon put on the table at her very first meeting. Current County Officials, as well as those who will be on the ballot this fall, have identified this troubling hot-button subject as a source of lost revenue for schools, emergency response, and other essential services throughout the County.

We received a list of the top 100 Delinquent Property Taxpayers from the Chief Deputy Auditor of Scioto County. Combined, they total 165 properties and  $3,252,609.65. There are legal remedies up to and including foreclosure and the sale of these properties. To make it easier to follow, we will break it down into lists of 20 Delinquent Property Taxpayers. Here is another batch of 20.
