A worried dad contacted the Scioto County Sheriff’s Officer to report someone had attempted to kill his son on New Year’s Eve.
He said his adult son was found unconscious and naked in a yard, and an ambulance transported him to SOMC for treatment.
He said the son was currently in the ICU and had no memory of the incident. He also said his son’s phone was found next to him and that testing showed there were no drugs or alcohol in his system.

Deputies headed to the hospital and to the scene of the suspected attack to gather evidence.
