Pamela McManus, 61, of Portsmouth, went to be with the Lord on August 7, 2024, at SOMC Hospice Center in Portsmouth. Pamela was born August 24, 1962 in Portsmouth to the late Gary and Irene (Weddington) Thompson.
Pamela attended Cornerstone Nazarene Church and was a graduate of Wheelersburg High School and Scioto County Joint Vocational School. She enjoyed spending her time with family and cherished her grandchildren along with a special buddy, her dog, Hank.
Pamela is survived by her husband, Dan; two daughters, Danielle Duduit and husband Gabe of Wheelersburg Whitney McManus of Xenia; two brothers, Bill Thompson and wife Karlene of New Albany, Rick Thompson and wife Linda of Reynoldsburg; four sisters, Terri Hurd and husband Jesse of Friendship, Sherri Campbell and husband Randy of Portsmouth, Paula Sampson and husband Scott of Wheelersburg, Christy Thompson of Wheelersburg; six grandchildren, Sophie, Joel, Ember, Charlotte, Amelia and Luke.
The family would like to give a special Thank You to her brother Bill Thompson and wife Karlene and sister Paula Sampson for all of their assistance; also the Gynecologic Oncology Department at The James- OSU, The James Gynecologic Oncology- Mill Run – OSU and SOMC Hospice Staff in Portsmouth.
Private family Interment will be at Memorial Burial Park under the direction of the D.W. Swick Funeral Home in Wheelersburg.
