Brenda Kay Hutchison, 71 of Portsmouth, died Tuesday, October 31, 2023, at Rosemount Pavilion in Portsmouth. She was born March 7, 1952, in Sylvester, West Virginia, to the late Estel Gunnoe and Mary Perdue Hill.
Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Melinda Hill, and a stepdaughter, Angie Hutchison.
Brenda is survived by a daughter, Mary M. Hill, a son Rexford Arnold Smith Jr. son-in-law Johnny Jones, stepdaughter; Candy Lynn(William) Hutchison, husband William Hutchison, grandchildren: Mary Beth Schnitzius, Mark Allen Adkins, Brenda Kay Lawwill, Rex Andrew Smith, , brother-in-law Jessie Hicks, 13 great-grandchildren along with several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 4, 2023, at the Roger W. Davis Funeral Home in West Portsmouth. The interment will be in Scioto Burial Park. Friends may call at the funeral home on Saturday starting at 11:00 AM. Condolences may be sent to www.rogerwdavisfuneralhome.com.
