1 Cops Revive OD Victim with Double Dose of Narcan
Officers were able to save an overdose victim early Sunday morning with a double dose of a lifesaving drug.
At 3:24 am, police responded to a report of an overdose on Kent Street. Officers administered two doses of Narcan and were able to revive the man before PFD medics arrived on the scene.
The man refused further treatment and left the scene with a sober party.
2 Cries For Help Around the County
First responders came to the aid of multiple distressed individuals.
Just after 4:30 am, a caller contacted 911 and said they had cut themselves multiple times with a knife, including on the wrists. EMS personnel transported the person to the hospital.
At 10 am, EMS personnel were dispatched to aid a man who attempted suicide by taking pills. That individual was also transported to the hospital for treatment.
A worried aunt contacted officers at 12:22 pm to report her troubled nephew was sitting in the driveway and refused to leave. She said the nephew was on drugs and had threatened to harm himself. Officers trespassed him from the property.
At 4 pm, a father contacted 911 to report his juvenile daughter was out of control and throwing things at his wife. An ambulance transported the child to the hospital with a squad car following.
