Cynthia L. Smith, 58, of Portsmouth passed away Monday, May 30, 2022. She was born October 11, 1963, in New Port, RI, a daughter of the late Joseph and Barbara (Millington) Penix. She was a graduate of Wheelersburg High School and enjoyed working in her yard and playing Bingo.
Cynthia is survived by her husband, Donald R. Smith; two sisters, Alice Carmichael of Lucasville and Donna Wicker of Ironton.
She was also preceded in death by a sister, Ollie Davis.
Funeral services will be 1:00 PM Monday, June 6, 2022, at D.W. SWICK FUNERAL HOME (Wolfe-Nelson Chapel in Sciotoville with Pastor Steve Falls officiating. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be from 12 Noon to 1 PM on Monday at the funeral home.
