A woman, who was already on probation found herself in trouble once again after a disagreement with her mom on Christmas Eve.
The mom called deputies to her Ironton home at 10:30 am. Officers noted the mom was soaking wet. She told them she’d picked her daughter up from a local rehab center to bring her home for a holiday visit.
She said the woman got argumentative in the car on the way home and threw a drink on her mom. When officers went into the home to speak to the daughter, she admitted throwing the drink but claimed it was because her mother had called her names.
The mom said her daughter was already on probation, and she wanted to file charges. Police arrested the daughter for domestic violence and took her to the Lawrence County Jail.
