Deputies continued to attempt to offer assistance to a homeless man living in a tent near the 823 overpass.
Officers have tried to see if the man needed help on multiple occasions last week and went once again to do a welfare check after a passerby expressed concern.
However, the deputy said the man was not inside the tent at that time. Officers later spotted him sitting on a bench near the Sunoco Gas Station. But it appears he is continuing to refuse all offers of aid.
