Just after 8 pm, the Ohio State Patrol put out a BOLO for a reckless driver. They said the driver of a green Dodge Challenger had just run a red light in New Boston and was swerving badly on US 52 EB.
When a deputy spotted the vehicle on Rt. 140 and pursued it with lights and sirens, they said the car sped up to 80 mph and then sped up to almost 100 mph while passing Gammp’s.

The driver continued to speed up, so the deputy decided to call off the pursuit due to unsafe speeds.
