Both the Four Keys Inn and the Royal Inn lived up to their reputation as hotspots for trouble over the weekend.
Around 1 pm, a woman called the police from the Four Keys to claim someone had stolen her pocketbook. She told officers she had some items lying close to the road by the building, but when she came back to get them, they were gone. She also told officers she found a Bible turned upside down leaning against the building.
Officers determined she was having mental health issues, and there was no need to file a police report.
Around 4:30 pm, police and EMS headed to the Royal Inn on Kendall after employees reported a woman causing a disturbance in the canopy area. Medics transported the woman to SOMC for treatment.
Police returned to the Royal Inn around 6 pm after a man said he was threatened by his son. When police arrived and spoke to the man, they learned the argument was verbal, and the son had left the area. They advised him to call them if the son returned.
