DoorDash Offers Employees $4 Doctor Visits

Doordash offers employees access to $4 virtual visits with a doctor. The food delivery company has been busy as a result of the COVID-19 shutdown of dine-in restaurants. They are also stepping up with financial assistance for those who can’t work due to Coronavirus-related health issues or childcare difficulties.

If you aren’t familiar with Doordash, the app allows you to have food delivered from just about any restaurant. Drivers work freelance, using their own vehicles. They are paid per delivery. With many folks out of work due to Ohio’s shutdown, some have turned to full-time delivery to keep their heads above water.

In order to protect the health of their employees, DoorDash is making it easier for them to see a doctor. Using the Doctor On Demand virtual healthcare platform, Doordash drivers in the U.S. will have access to discounted virtual urgent care visits.  All employees are eligible for a coupon code that allows them to visit a doctor virtually for just $4.
