Katherine Marie Oxyer, 76, of Huber Heights, died Tuesday, December 8, 2020, in Grandview Medical Center in Dayton. Born on November 24, 1944, in Portsmouth, she was a daughter of the late Chester and Shirley Cooper Arthur and was a former employee for Kroger’s.
Kathy was a Baptist and just enjoyed everything and everybody.
Surviving are her husband, Rickie Oxyer, a son, Eric Brady of S. Charleston; a daughter, Heidi Brady of S. Solon; a brother, Rick (Teresa) Arthur of Wheelersburg; two sisters, Tara (Dan) Claypool of West Portsmouth and Linda (Mike) Carrier of Circleville; three special grandchildren, Kristina Wilson, Stephen Hanes, and Callie Brady; and three very special great-grandchildren, Madison Wilson, Jason Wilson, and Elizabeth Wilson.
A service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 12th, at Rubyville Community Church. Interment will be in Pyle Cemetery.
The family will receive guests at the church from 11:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. on Saturday.
Masks will be required for admission, but not furnished by the funeral home. Social distancing will be observed.
