A morning shift at KFC turned chaotic when employees say a woman showed up outside the restaurant screaming, yelling, and making disturbing political threats.
Staff at the South Point KFC reported that the woman shouted she had “taken 11 computers” and repeatedly said she was going to kill President Donald Trump. Witnesses said she made the statement at least three times before walking away from the property. Alarmed employees called deputies as they watched her cross the road toward a nearby gas station.
Deputies found her minutes later in a car wash parking lot on County Road 144. She matched the description — wearing a black-and-white sweatshirt and black pants, with a black bag in hand. When approached by a patrol vehicle, she initially tried to walk away before stopping. Deputies placed her under arrest and transported her to the Lawrence County Jail.
During the ride, she continued making bizarre claims — saying she worked for the NSA and CIA, had collected computers from terrorists, and “wanted to be famous like ISIS.”
The incident was partially captured on body-worn camera, though deputies noted recording stopped once she was secured in the cruiser.
Even when they sound far-fetched, political threats are taken seriously. Law enforcement says any mention of violence against a public figure can bring immediate arrest and possible federal review.
