Kroger Wants Woman Out – She Refuses to Go
Around 3 am, PPD responded to a report of people looking into cars in the store’s parking lot.
When officers tried to serve a woman with a no-trespass form at the store’s request, she refused to sign it. When police offered a copy, she refused to accept it. Police left the original form behind with Kroger for their records.
Officers were back at Kroger five hours later for a report of a man stealing. Police served a no-trespass order and took the man into custody for theft.
Kids Block Street – Neighbor Gets Mad
A Wilson Street neighbor got furious after kids blocked the street just before 4 pm. Witness complained that a man was yelling at children in front of a house while they were playing basketball in the street.
The upset man yelled at the kids and tried to talk to the parents when an argument ensued. Officers advised the kids to get out of the road when people drive by.
Another argument between the families and the complaining neighbor broke out a few minutes later. An officer spoke to everyone involved and advised them to calm down.
