A complaint about a man dumping trash in the yard of a Campbell Avenue home led to an arrest.
Relatives of a deceased man told police the home had been left unsecured after the man’s death. Officers arrived at the home about 10 minutes after receiving the call and took a man with an open warrant into custody on charges of theft and probation violation.
This was the seventh time police have arrested the man for probation violation in the past four years.

Officers advised the man they arrested to have his family retrieve his belongings from the property.
