An employee of Jenkins Sunoco called Portsmouth Police to report a man had been sitting at a table in the business for the past four hours. He told employees that six men had chased him.
When officers arrived, he told them he was attempting to get to an area rehab facility. He told officers he had stayed in the store because a gang of people had chased him.
Officers called for the crisis response team to take him to rehab.
