A 45-year-old Scioto County man with 50 arrests to his name is facing charges multiple drug trafficking charges just three years after he was let out of an Ohio prison on judicial release.
The Scioto County Grand Jury indicted Matthew Steele on 3 counts of trafficking in fentanyl, 4 counts of possession of fentanyl, conveying drugs onto the grounds of a government facility, cocaine possession and trafficking, and possession of criminal tools.
Steel has managed to accumulate an impressive 50 trips to the Scioto County Jail. He was doing time for receiving stolen property, drug possession, and having weapons under a disability before his release in 2020.
After getting out of jail, he’s been arrested at least six times on multiple charges of probation violation and for contempt.
Other arrests include failure to appear, receiving stolen property, trafficking in heroin, parole violation, tampering with evidence, aggravated burglary, burglary, OVI, assaulting a police officer, assault, obstructing justice, felonious assault, and speeding.
