An alarm company contacted the Scioto County Sheriff’s Office just after 2 am to report a woman contacted them to say someone was in her home.
The woman later called 9-1-1 to say her son was at her home and had thrown her up against the wall and possibly broken her ribs. When officers responded to the scene, they discovered both mom and son were intoxicated.
Officers said neither party was injured, and they were telling conflicting stories. Officers advised the mom on the steps to get a protection order and gave the son a ride to a relative’s home for the night.
Man Arrested For Domestic Violence After Fight With Mom
Around 7:30 pm, officers responded to a report of a 20-year-old man fighting with his mom.
Police took the man into custody and sent for an ambulance.
They advised Jalen Jones of his rights and took him into custody for domestic violence and criminal damaging.
