Roger Dale “Whitey” Cydrus, Jr.,59, beloved son, brother, husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather of Beaver, Ohio passed away on Friday, March 13, 2026 at OSU Wexner Medical Center in Columbus, Ohio. He was born February 14, 1967 in Chillicothe, Ohio son of the late Roger and Donna Gozy Cydrus.
He was united in marriage to Vicky Frisby Cydrus who survives. Also surviving are his children Jennifer Walters of Waverly, Aeramis Brigner of Cincinnati, Roger Cydrus of Chillicothe, Timmy Cydrus of Waverly, Tiffany Cydrus of Chillicothe, Bryan Cydrus of Beaver, Kenny Cydrus of Beaver, Cory Cydrus of Beaver and Nathan Frisby of Waverly; his adopted children, Aiden, Payton and Bryan Jones; his grandchildren, Nathan, Tabitha, Haley, Peyton, Aubrey, Tyler, Ethan, Connor, Lily, Nick, Jaelyn, Aurora, Easton, Riley, Weston, Landon and Hayden; great grandchildren, Rylan and Kohen; his brothers and sisters, Rodney Cydrus, Mark Cydrus, Johnny Cydrus, Ray Schaffer, Eddie Schafer and Madonna Betts.
Roger loved spending time with family, hunting, farming and was considered a jack of all trades.
Graveside services will be 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, March 17, 2026 at Hay Hollow Cemetery on Hay Hollow Road.
