Southern Ohio Law Enforcement is urging up to 200 people to get tested immediately for HIV after a grand jury indicted an HIV-positive woman for soliciting.
According to a press release, at least 211 people have had sexual contact with 30-year-old Linda Leccesse of Marietta since she tested positive for HIV back in 2022.

Members of the Washington County Sheriff’s Office said they would be contacting people on Leccesse’s client list to urge them to get tested and that the calls are not a scam. Officers said these individuals are not in trouble but needed to get tested for the potentially deadly virus.
The Washington County Grand Jury indicted Leccesse for engaging in solicitation after a positive HIV test, which is a felony.
