Police investigated multiple cases of gun threats during a busy evening, including shots fired into a home.
Just before 8 pm, a caller said she saw a man shoving a woman at 20th and Waller. She said when she told him to stop, he pulled out a gun and waved it at her before leaving the area. By the time officers arrived, he’d left the area.
Just 15 minutes later, New Boston Police requested mutual aid after a man someone was shooting at him from a dark blue Chevy Silverado near Highland Bend. NBPD also contacted the Sheriff’s Office and investigating officers learned the problem started when people were arguing over a girl.

Just after midnight, a caller reported someone in a silver Malibu with Texas plates pulling guns on people as they walked down Kendall Avenue. Police said the individual left before they arrived.
Around 3 am, a caller reported shots fired and tires squealing in the area of Wayne Hills. Police checked several apartment buildings in 1800 block of Kendall and discovered bullet holes in a door. They collected shell casings, a live round, and took a door for evidence.
