Officers are called in to deal with misbehaving kids more and more often these days. Just before 1 p.m., a Scioto County Sheriff’s Deputy detained a boy at Green Local Schools.
The deputy was told that the child attempted to hit his teacher. The school contacted the boy’s parents, who headed to the school.
Portsmouth Officers located a kid who kept running away from home at the Fast Stop Market. Officers advised him to stop running off and listen to his mother. He told police he ran away because he no longer wanted to attend Notre Dame High School.
His mother was in the process of transferring him back to Portsmouth, and officers advised him to behave until the process was finished.
