A teen said she was punched in the face at Walmart, but her mom did not want the police involved.
A 16-year-old girl contacted police just before 9 pm to report an assault by her 14-year-old brother. The girl said the attack happened at Walmart in New Boston, where her brother struck her several times in the face. However, she said her mother did not want her to contact the police.
The boy told police he thought he heard his sister cussing out their mother, so he got in her face, and she headbutted him. That made him angry, so he punched her.
The mother said she would handle the issue, and that her son would spend the night at his grandmother’s house.
Police told the mom that if she wished to file charges, she should contact the New Boston Police Department.
An officer informed the NBPD about the incident.
