Just after 1 a.m., police were called to a home on Coles Blvd. It seems the teen was quite upset when the mother had her boyfriend over for a visit. The teen demanded that the boyfriend be removed by police.
Officers noted that there was no evidence of any physical struggle between the pair and told the teen that they could appreciate the fact that she may be upset with a new person in Mom’s life. They made a plan that the teen would go visit her grandparents for the night.
However, 2 hours later, police were again called to the home. It seems the teen did not go to her grandparents’ house and was playing her TV loudly, disturbing everyone in the house. At this point, it was 3 am, and they were trying to go to sleep.
An officer quickly solved the problem by removing the power cord from the TV and giving it to her mother. After that, there was no further contact with the police.
Until…. The next day, the mom and daughter began to argue once again. The mother told police that the daughter was “trying to get physical” with her.
Police spoke with the upset teen and educated her about persistent disorderly conduct and the potential consequences.
At long last, the daughter agreed to go with her grandfather until this issue could be peacefully resolved.
