A pair of car thieves ripped off a Walmart employee just before midnight. The employee said he’d left his coat, with his car keys in the pocket, in a buggy, and it went missing.
When officers checked the security footage, they spotted two men taking the coat. The pair then went out into the parking lot and drove around in a Uhaul hitting the victim’s panic alarm button until they located his car. They then used the keys to steal the vehicle.
Officers from the Lawrence County Sheriff’s Office entered the car into the stolen vehicles database.
