Portsmouth police were called after a woman reported that a man exposed himself while driving past her home.
The call came in around 9:30 p.m. from the 5th Street area.
The woman told police a heavy-set white man with dark, shaggy hair was driving a small sedan when he passed her house heading north on Brown Street.
She said the man lifted himself up and exposed himself as he drove by.

The woman did not know the make or model of the vehicle and did not have a license plate number.
Police said no report was taken at that time because there was no identifying information for the man or vehicle.
