Marilyn Timberlake Richards, 85, of South Shore, KY, went to be with her Lord on Wednesday, April 22, 2026, at her residence. She was born in Portsmouth, OH, on June 1, 1940, a daughter of the late Kenneth and Katherine Skiver Timberlake.
Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her first husband, Robert Lawson; second husband, James L. Richards; two sons, Robert “Bobby” Lawson Jr. and Tim Lawson; and one grandson, Ricky Lawson Jr.
Left behind to cherish her memory are one son, Rick (Connie) Lawson of South Shore, KY; two step-sons, David (Laura) Richards of Huber Heights, OH, and Robert (Teresa) Richards of Bradenton, FL; one step-daughter, Nancy Richards of Mebane, NC; three grandchildren, Megan (Brett) Kennard, Josh (Sarah) Lawson and T.J. (Erica) Lawson; three great-grandchildren, Bryleigh, Gunner, Kainleigh and several other family and friends who will sadly miss her.
Funeral services will be at 1 P.M. on Monday, April 27, 2026, at Morton-Hunt Family Funeral Home in South Shore, KY, with Brett Unger officiating. Burial will follow at MT Zion Cemetery in South Shore, KY. Visitation will be on Monday at the funeral home from 12 P.M. until the funeral hour.
