Deputies arrested a woman in Madison Township after a report that she was intoxicated, combative, and had assaulted a man.
Scioto County Sheriff’s deputies were called to the home after someone reported the disturbance.
According to the log, deputies learned the woman was on probation and also had a civil protection order against her.
Jackson police confirmed the protection order was valid. Deputies said the order included a condition that the woman was not to use or possess drugs or alcohol.
Because deputies said she was intoxicated, they determined she had violated the protection order.
Deputies took Tiffani Stanley into custody and booked her into the Scioto County Jail on a charge of violating a protection order.
The charge is an allegation. Stanley is presumed innocent unless proven guilty in court.
