Betty Louise Mays, 52, of Portsmouth passed away Thursday, September 17, 2020, at her home. Betty was born June 14, 1968, in Portsmouth to Nina Earlene Craft Mays and the late William Curtis Mays. Betty was a member of Sandhill Christian Baptist Church. In addition to her father, Betty was preceded in death by a brother, William Curtis Mays, Jr.
Betty is survived by a daughter, Amanda Mays; three sons, Andrew (Alyssa) Mays, Anthony (Brittany) Mays, and Gregory Mays; three brothers, Larry, Randy and John Mays; a sister, Debra (Randal) Craig and nine grandchildren.
Services for Betty will be 1:00 pm Monday, September 21, 2020, at Harrison-Pyles Funeral Home in Wheelersburg. Interment will be in Scioto Furnace Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Monday 11:00 am until the 1:00 pm service hour.
