Kenneth Dale Evans, 83, of South Portsmouth KY passed away Sunday, December 13, 2020, at his residence surrounded by his family.
Kenneth was born November 18, 1937, to the late Thomas and Elizabeth Salyers Evans.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brothers, Talmadge, Pearl, Lewis, Johnny, Frank; son, Kenneth Wayne Evans.
Kenneth enjoyed hunting, fishing, and spending time with family, and playing with his grandkids. He retired from the South Shore Brickyard after 33 years. He was a Baseball and Softball coach for many years for the South Shore Little League.
He is survived by his loving wife of 62 years, Mary Lou Lowe Evans; one daughter, Marsha Lynn (Steven) Marth; one son, Chris (Angela) Evans; grandchildren, Steven Marth, Jessi Marth, Alisha Evans, Hannah Evans and Sarah Evans; Great-Grandchildren, Sidda Marth, Alex Marth, Connor Marth, Masyn Marth, Navy Marth and Bryson Stewart; brothers Paul (the late Marie) Evans, Bill (Donna) Evans, Jim (the late Penny) Evans; sisters, Thelma (the late Leonard) Ruggles, Nola (the late Don) Brown; he also leaves behind nieces, nephews, extended family and friends who will miss him dearly.
Funeral Services will be at 2:00 P.M., Thursday, December 17, 2020, at Roberson Funeral Home with Pastor Bob Thompson officiating. Burial will follow in Firebrick Cemetery.
Visitation will be after 11:00 A.M., Thursday, at the Funeral Home.
