This is not the first time people have offered drugs to police
Officers responded to a report of a suspicious vehicle at York Park in Portsmouth. Police discovered women sitting in the vehicle and detected a strong smell of marijuana.
The women admitted they were smoking weed and one suspect handed over a baggie of pot to an officer and said, “You can have it.”
The ladies allowed police to search the vehicle. Officers discovered two additional baggies of marijuana. Police impounded the drugs and advised the women about misdemeanor charges. They allowed the women to contact a sober friend to drive them home
