Larry Thomas Hobbs, 73, of Lucasville, passed away on Friday, September 17, 2021, at his residence. He was born on March 28, 1948, in Vanceburg, Kentucky to the late James Arthur Hobbs and Daisy Frances Hamlin Hobbs.
On June 14, 1969, he was united in marriage to Mary Elizabeth Spencer Hobbs who survives. In addition to his wife Larry is survived by three daughters; Christine (Duane) Montgomery of Lucasville, Fancy Hobbs of Chillicothe and Ginger Biggs of Lucasville; three grandchildren, Danielle Gustafson, Tori Montgomery, and Tommy Briggs; great-granddaughter Sadie Burke and a great-grandson on the way; five brothers, Donald (Carolyn) Hobbs of Lucasville, David Hobbs of Lucasville, William (Lita) Hobbs of Lucasville, Randy(Nan) Hobbs of Lucasville and Ronald Hobbs of Portsmouth; three sisters, Barbara Stevens of Lucasville, Linda (Jim) Throckmorton of Lucasville and Nancy Zickgraff of Hillsboro and many friends and family.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by three brothers; Roger Hobbs, Mike Hobbs, and Junior Hobbs, and one sister Carol Ramsey.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm on Monday, September 20, 2021, at the Botkin Hornback Funeral Home in Otway with Pastor Alan Roe officiating. Burial will follow in Martin Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 12:00 pm until the time of the service at the funeral home
