Paul David Gammon, 79, of Portsmouth, passed away Thursday, October 14, 2021, at Cincinnati’s Christ Hospital.
He was born November 24, 1941, on Woods Ridge, Portsmouth, a son of the late Raymond and Lena Crager Gammon.
Paul was a retired Parts Programmer for H&H Industries in Kettering, Ohio, was a member of Grace Fellowship Church in Wheelersburg, and was a 1961 Minford High School graduate.
He was also preceded in death by two grandchildren.
Paul is survived by his wife, Virginia Lee Lindamood Gammon whom he married August 18, 1962, in Minford; one daughter, Amy Lee (Anthony) Knoechelman of Zephyrhills, FL; three sons, Paul J. (Rebecca) Gammon of New Carlisle, OH, David (Lisa) Gammon of Goldsboro, NC,; and Tim Gammon of Durham, NC; 10 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; three brothers, Ron Gammon of Wheelersburg, Phil Gammon of Portsmouth, and Roy Gammon of South Carolina; and three sisters, Norma Lawhorn of Wheelersburg, Lenna Smith of South Webster, and Judy Johnson of Portsmouth.
Graveside services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Monday, October 18, 2021, in Harger Cemetery with Don Noel officiating. There will be no visitation. Arrangements are under the direction of the McKinley Funeral Home in Lucasville.
