A wild party at a Center Street home ended with an ambulance rushing a girl to the hospital.
A neighbor contacted police at 12:22 am on Sunday morning to report a party across the street. She observed people pulling someone out the front door who was on the ground and not moving. The witness also said there was quite a bit of fighting.
When officers arrived on the scene, they told the kids present to find rides home. Officers offered rides home to two girls and contacted the homeowner, who was not home at the time. She woke up her adult daughter, who was sleeping at the house and asked her to make sure the party dispersed. An ambulance transported one teen to the hospital.
In a separate incident, a caller reported an intoxicated juvenile at 17th and High Street. The teen requested a ride to the ER.
Police dispatched an ambulance and made contact with the child’s father. The ambulance transported the teen to the hospital, and the father met them there.
