Norma Jean Dever, 98, passed away September 13, 2022, at Concord Health & Rehabilitation Center in Wheelersburg. Norma Jean was born June 4, 1924, in Portsmouth, Ohio to the late Walter & Madaline Hamm.
Norma Jean was born June 4, 1924, in Portsmouth, Ohio to the late Walter and Madaline Hamm. Norma Jean was a member of the Wheelersburg Church of Christ. Norma Jean cherished spending time with her family, reading, traveling with friends, and sewing. She was fondly known as Grego to her family and enjoyed the family farm with walks in the fields, minibike and golf cart rides, and swinging in her swing reminiscing the many special times of yesteryears. Norma Jean was a secretary for Mr. Bob Wagner at the Boy Scout office in her early years and enjoyed working for Marting’s and Millhuff’s.
in addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by the love of her life, her husband of 71 years, Paul Kenneth Dever, and her grandsons, Christopher Gampp and Jared Dever.
Norma Jean is survived by her children, Sandy (Ronnie) Gampp, Terry (Barb) Dever, Tim (Christy) Dever, Becky Adams (Rick Miller); her grandchildren, Jeff (Kelly) Gampp, Megan (Kyle) McKenzie, Tyler and Chelsea Adams, Isaac Dever; her great-grandchildren, Kyla (Wes) Lyon, and her great-great-grandchildren, Maylee and Aiden Lyon and Kooper and Mathis McKenzie.

Funeral services will be conducted at 6:00 p.m. Friday, September 16, 2022, at Erwin-Dodson-Allen Funeral Home in Minford with Lynn Wessel officiating. Friends may call at the funeral home one hour prior to the service on Friday. Online condolences may be sent to www.edafh.com.
