Business Calls Cops After Employee Brings Gun To Work
Just after 9:30 am, the Scioto County Sheriff’s Office got a call from the loss prevention officer at Lowe’s in Wheelersburg.
They informed dispatch that an employee had brought a gun to work, but they had already secured the weapon.
A deputy responded to the scene, and the employee agreed to leave work.
Dumpster Diver Banned From the Family Dollar
The Family Dollar in Clarktown banned a woman from the property, but she wasn’t willing to take “no” for an answer.
Employees called to report she parked on the side of the building on Saturday evening, despite there being a trespass order against her.
In the past, she’d been caught going through the dumpster and assaulting her boyfriend on the property. However, she’d left the property by the time deputies arrived on the scene.
They advised employees to call them if she returned.
Woman ODs at West Portsmouth Subway
Just after 10 pm, a caller reported a woman had overdosed in a vehicle at the Subway in Wet Portsmouth.
A deputy took the woman into custody, and OSP also responded to the scene. The woman was cited and released. Police arranged to have the vehicle towed.
