It is Shop-with-A-Cop time again. As we did last year, we will be changing things up.
We will be getting ALL family referrals from the local schools. Neither the Chief’s Office nor the schools will be accepting any phone call referrals in reference to families in need.
You will be called and notified if you are chosen for the program. We will tell you the date and time to meet at Wal-Mart to do the shopping.
When you arrive at Wal-Mart you will be told how much you have to spend as well as what you can and cannot buy.
The FOP Lodge #33 has limited funds available this year for this program.
If you are able and willing to donate to the program, you can do so in several ways. Any donations would be greatly appreciated. ALL money raised will go to purchasing gifts for children. If you are able to donate, please do so in one of the following ways.
- Take donations to WesBanco in person and tell them that it’s for FOP #33 Shop-With-A-Cop donation fund.
- Mail check or money order to FOP #33 C/O Portsmouth Police Dept. 728 2nd St. Portsmouth, Ohio 45662.
- Bring cash or check in person to the Portsmouth Police Department Records Bureau or Police Chief’s Office located in the basement of 728 2nd St. Portsmouth, Ohio 45662.
All checks or money orders should have Shop-With-A-Cop in the memo line. The FOP Tax
ID information will be provided to any donors upon request.
These donations are tax deductible.
Members of the FOP #33 will do our best to help as many children as we can this Christmas season.
