Man Assaulted, Then Arrested
David Lee Gallion had a very bad morning – he was punched and then arrested.
Around 11:30 am, he contacted officers to report that a Mabert Road resident had punched him and left the area. Police met up with Gallion at Save A Lot a few minutes later.
However, they learned the Scioto County Sheriff’s Office had an open warrant for the 43-year-old man, so they took him into custody.
Officers also took information about the assault against Gallion before booking him into the Scioto County Jail on a probation violation charge. This was Gallion’s 11th arrest. Previous charges include multiple charges of driving under a suspension, failure to maintain control of a motor vehicle, criminal damaging, possession of criminal tools, burglary, and DUI.
