Woman Reports Break-In – Ends Up in Jail
A woman contacted the Scioto County Sheriff’s Office shortly before 9:30 am to report that a neighbor had broken out her apartment window.
She said she had watched the man try to get into her home the evening before and saw him break the window. When dispatch asked why she didn’t call for help then, she said that law enforcement never helps her.
When deputies arrived on the scene, they learned the woman had an open warrant. Officers took her into custody.
Injury Motorcycle Wreck on Lucasville-Minford Road
EMS and officers responded to Lucasville-Minford Road just after 5 pm for a report of a motorcycle wreck.
An ambulance was transporting the crash victim to SOMC but decided to request an air ambulance instead. Medflight met the ambulance at the Minford Airport and transported the patient to a Huntington hospital.
