Officers responded to Giovanni’s in Minford after a report that a man came into the restaurant with a gun and had threatened to shoot up the place.
When officers contacted the restaurant, the manager said the man had threatened to beat up a man who was speaking to his ex-girlfriend after the restaurant closed. The manager said the man didn’t make gun threats but did have a gun on him.

The man was trespassed from the restaurant, and a deputy stood by at closing to make sure he didn’t return.
