Clarence Shuff Jr., 88, of South Webster, passed away Sunday, September 10, 2023, at Southern Ohio Medical Center in Portsmouth.
He was born, on March 9, 1935, to the late Clarence E. Shuff Sr. and Hazel Marie (Ferguson) Shuff in Scioto Furnace. Clarence retired from Dayton Power and Light and served in the U.S. Navy Reserves. He loved hunting and doing woodworking. Clarence attended Frederick Freewill Baptist Church.
Clarence is survived by his wife, Edna Mae (Crabtree) Shuff; two sons, Michael Wayne Shuff and wife Lavonda of South Webster, Marc Alan Shuff of Woolwine, VA; three daughters, Kathy Ann Rosengarten and husband Robert of Cedarville, Ohio, Carol Sue Sauer of South Webster, and Sherry Lynne Blackburn and husband William of Wheelersburg; two brothers, Clifford Dell Shuff and wife Sharon of Wheelersburg, Roger Shuff and wife Bonnie of Wheelersburg; a sister, Dottie Percell and husband Harold of Wheelersburg; seven grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren.
He was also preceded in death by three brothers, Roy Shuff, Ted Shuff, and Frank Shuff; and three sisters, Ethel Jordan, Irene Stone, and Louise Wright.
Funeral services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday, September 13. 2023 with Pastor Rusty Larter officiating. Interment will follow at Scioto Furnace Cemetery.
