Worried family members contacted law enforcement after they made a disturbing discovery in a teen’s room.
Family members had discovered feathers strewn about the bedroom of a boy who’d been suspended from school for making threats. He initially said he’d picked the feathers up outside, but they later found more feathers and the mutilated carcass of a chicken in the nightstand along with multiple knives in the room.

The brother later told a sibling he knew of a way to get rid of the adults in the home and described a plant to kill them and dispose of the bodies and admitted he’d previously tried to poison other family members.
Officers referred the matter to CPS.
