Bonnie Bernice Mollett, 79, of Franklin Furnace, passed away Saturday, October 26, 2024 at SOMC Hospice in Portsmouth, Ohio.
Born June 27, 1945 in Scioto County, a daughter of the late James F. and Clara Evelyn (Lewis) Smith, she was graduate of Minford High School in the class of 1965 and the New Boston Business College. She was of the Pentecostal faith, loved to do genealogy, needle point, crochet, crafting and loved her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
She is survived by her children, Edward Del (Angie) Mollett, Kathy (John) Groves, Kelly (Lyndin) Skaggs, Sheila (Steve) Allard; 10 grandsons, Wes Groves, Matt Groves, Erik Gibson, Ethan Gibson, Aaron Allard, Austan Allard, Alex Allard, Levi Mollett, Wyatt Mollett, Colton Mollett; 16 great grandchildren; a brother, Chris Smith, and two sisters, Norene Neff and Dovie Havens.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Ernie Smith, Mark Smith, and her favorite son-in-law, Monty Ray Allard.
Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 p.m. Thursday, October 31, 2024 at Erwin-Dodson-Allen Funeral Home in Minford with Henry Burkett officiating. Burial will be in Harrison-Furnace Cemetery near Minford. Friends may call at the funeral home from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday and one hour prior to the service on Thursday.
