Deputies responded to multiple incidents involving vicious dogs.
A mom called 911 at 6 pm to report that the family’s rescue dog had bitten a child in the mouth.
The mom said the family adopted the pit-lab mix the previous summer. Officers and the Dog Warden headed to the home. The mother put the dog outside in a cage. Fortunately, the child’s injuries were minor.
Officers were once again called back to Cherry Street for a report of dogs running loose. Once again, a woman said the dogs came at her on her property.
Deputies tried to contact the dog warden about the incident, but they were out on another call.
