Aaron Michael Borders, 35, of Otway, Ohio passed away Friday, February 28, 2025. He was born February 11, 1990 in Columbus, Ohio to Michael James (Geri) Borders of Lucasville and Nina Garrison (Shannon) Tolle of Otway.
On July 28, 2012, he was united in marriage to Leah Cox Borders who survives. Also surviving are his son, Jace Michael “Fat Fat” Borders; brothers, Christopher James (Haley) Borders of Lucasville and Austin Wayne (Katie) Tolle of Lynx; nephews and nieces, James Michael Borders, Jaxton Michael Borders, Allie Borders, Railynn Ellis and Logan Tolle, Camryn and Collyn Goodknight; and numerous loving nephews and nieces; grandparents, Linda Devereaux of Columbus and Anita Tolle of Otway; and father and mother in law, Robbie and Carol Cox of Columbus.
He was preceded in death by a grandfather, James Devereaux and grandmother, Shirley Cron.
Aaron was a boxing coach and was a member of US Boxing and the West Virginia LBC. He was passionate about helping others and will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Friday, March 7, 2025 at Botkin Hornback Funeral Home in Otway with Father Fulton Celebrant officiating. Burial will follow on the family farm. The family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the service at the funeral home.
